Griezmann, Lemar and Hernández all sign on for Atlético Madrid
Atlético Madrid announced three bits of excellent news late on Monday evening.
Firstly, Thomas Lemar has now joined the club from Monaco, subject to a medical, in a deal worth a reported €60m.
And after ending speculation surrounding his future last week, Antoine Griezmann has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until 2023.
Completing the hat-trick of signings, Lucas Hernández has also renewed his contract at the Wanda Metropolitano, and is set to stay until 2024.

All three players are currently playing at the World Cup and signed their contracts at the French national team’s training base.
Griezmann’s current deal was due to expire in 2022 and he has therefore extended for an additional season. Atlético are yet to confirm whether the 27-year-old’s €100m release clause has increased, however.
Lucas, meanwhile, has committed the next six seasons of his career to the Rojiblancos, which should ward off reported interest from the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal and Manchester City.
And Lemar is understood to have signed his contract but will not officially become a member of Diego Simeone’s team until the final details of his transfer have been ironed out.
